Paycheck Review Reminder
The AmeriLife HR Department processed payroll today (Tuesday, April 21), which is based on the time card entries employees make in Workday.
FOR EMPLOYEES
- On Wednesday, April 22, all employees are asked to access their upcoming payslips in Workday (dated Friday, April 24) and review their hours for any errors.
- If employees find any errors, they are to report them to their managers.
FOR MANAGERS
- Managers must notify the HR Department by 5 p.m. EDT tomorrow (Wednesday, April 22) if there are any hours missing or if payslips require any adjustments due to missed work.
- As needed, the HR Department will issue checks on Thursday and send them overnight to employees to ensure they receive their full pay on Friday, based on hours worked and PTO.
- PLEASE NOTE: HR will be unable to process checks after Thursday if managers miss Wednesday’s deadline. If missed, any needed revisions will be reflected with the next payroll, which will be distributed on Friday, May 8.
Please contact HR@AmeriLife.com as soon as possible if you have any questions.

Supporting the Health Care Community During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Health care professionals have been at the forefront of battling the coronavirus pandemic, providing selfless service for patients infected with COVID-19.
Are you looking for ways to show your gratitude and support for health care’s dedication during this health care crisis? Here are five ideas you can consider.
- Organize food delivery to a local hospital
Many local restaurants still operating are delivering food to hospitals in their communities. Pick up the tab for one (or more) of those deliveries. Don’t forget about the overnight shift! - Donate blood
Local blood banks are experiencing a severe shortage of blood as a result of blood donation drives being canceled or postponed. Head to a local blood bank and roll up your sleeve in person; necessary precautions to ensure the safety of workers and those donating are being taken. - Donate to charities that support hospitals
Most local hospitals have foundations in place for charitable contributions. On a larger scale, donating to Direct Relief will provide health care workers responding to the coronavirus pandemic with essential medical items and protective gear. - Follow the advice of health care workers
Health care professionals are urging people to stay at home, wash their hands and practice social distancing. These efforts are key to controlling the virus and its spread. Click here for more information on CDC guidelines to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus. - Don’t buy unnecessary supplies
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending people wear face coverings when going out for essential reasons. The CDC is also telling us not to purchase surgical or N95 masks, which are especially needed for health care professionals on the front lines of the pandemic.
