AmeriLife Group, LLC, the national leader in marketing and distributing life, health and retirement solutions, is proud to be the “Hall of Fame” sponsor for the “Battle of the Lawyer Bands” on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 6 – 9 p.m. at 3 Daughters Brewing in St. Petersburg.
The event benefits Gulfcoast Legal Services, a nonprofit providing free, comprehensive civil legal aid through counsel, advice, representation, advocacy, and education for vulnerable individuals and families.
“AmeriLife is commited to supporting organizations within our community that provide valuable resources for at-risk populations,” said Nathan Hightower, AmeriLife Chief Legal and Administrative Officer. “Gulfcoast Legal Services is one such organization. This event will not only raise vital funds for an important organization, it will also be a night of food, fun, music and most importantly – intense competition.”
Five bands – comprised of local-area lawyers – will vie for a first-place prize and ultimately go up against last year’s winner: Simian Theory, a band led by a group of physicians. The bands will play from a variety of musical genres, ranging from classic rock to bluegrass. Fox 13 anchor/reporter Chris Cato and Stetson University student Carmen Cato will emcee the contest.
General admission tickets are $30. Go to https://glsbattle2020.eventbrite.com to purchase tickets for “Battle of the Lawyer Bands.”
