Scott Perry joined AmeriLife as CEO in December 2016. He was previously the Chief Business Officer of CNO Financial Group, Inc., (formerly Conseco, Inc.), where he oversaw the operations of Bankers Life, Colonial Penn, and Washington National.

Prior to that, Scott served as the President of Bankers Life, where he helped to transform the business and organizational culture, driving improved performance through information-based market and branch-specific plans, using an automated process for lead distribution and management.

Before joining Bankers Life, Scott worked for 17 years in sales, marketing, and management roles at Golden Rule, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Premera Blue Cross. Earlier in his career, he advised healthcare payers and providers on strategies to improve operational and financial performance with the Deloitte & Touche Integrated Health Care Group.

Scott has served on the boards of LL Global (LIMRA) and the American College. He also served as a board member and Chair of the Greater Illinois chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mike Vietri leads the product development, marketing and product distribution functions at AmeriLife, drawing on a prestigious sales and marketing career spanning over 30 years.

As the former Executive Vice President of The Producers Group and MetLife, Mike understands the importance of aligning the marketing and distribution functions. At MetLife, he successfully led one of the country’s largest sales and general distribution groups.

Mike provides a cohesive way forward to meet our future distribution and production growth objectives. He is focused on building a strong and effective marketing organization with an emphasis on growing the company’s various distribution channels.

As COO, Paul Carter leads AmeriLife’s information technology, operations and third-party administration businesses.

With over 35 years of executive experience in technology-enabled service organizations at Accenture, GenAmerica/MetLife and DST, Paul has the proven expertise and leadership to drive technology innovation and corporate-wide operational improvements; and enable AmeriLife to deliver industry-leading technology and services to its distribution partners, agents and insurance carriers.

Nathan oversees our Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources departments. He also plays a key role as a member of the AmeriLife Mergers and Acquisitions team.

He leads a team of attorneys and legal professionals and provides legal counsel in all corporate initiatives, insurance mandated compliance, litigation, and executive decision-making.

An experienced corporate trial lawyer who specialized in commercial litigation, business and real estate law, Nathan is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Business and Stetson University of College of Law. He has been a member of the Florida Bar for 30 years.

Since joining AmeriLife in 2010, Karen has overseen the accounting, finance and tax functions of the organization.

She also supervises the company’s external audit and preparation of the annual budget.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Karen specializes in implementing processes and controls for accurate reporting, and financial due diligence related to acquisitions.
