Scott Perry is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AmeriLife Group, LLC. He has been instrumental in leading AmeriLife to its current position as the national leader in marketing and distributing life and health insurance, annuities and retirement planning solutions to pre-retirees and retirees.

With more than 30-years industry experience, Scott leads a multi-channel distribution business with a national network of over 200,000 insurance agents and financial advisors. Scott has been cited in numerous financial publications, including Barron’s, Life Annuity Specialist and ThinkAdvisor.

Prior to joining AmeriLife in 2016, Scott was Chief Business Officer of CNO Financial Group and President of Bankers Life. Before that, he held leadership roles with Golden Rule, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Premera Blue Cross.

Scott has served on the boards of LL Global (LIMRA) and the American College. He has also served as a board member and Chair of the Greater Illinois chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. He currently is a board member with Vericity Inc., a publicly traded insurance holding company.

Jim Quinn joined AmeriLife in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining AmeriLife, Jim served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Marsh & McLennan Agency , the middle market platform of Marsh. While at MMA he managed a team of corporate development professionals responsible for the organization’s acquisition activities, completing a number of acquisitions ranging in size from $1 million to $130 million.

He has more than 25 years of experience as an investor, executive and advisor in the financial services industry. He began his career with Goldman Sachs and spent over a decade with Olympus Partners, a middle market private equity firm.

Jim graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in economics and a MBA from Stanford University.

Kiersten Burstiner joined AmeriLife in 2021 as the company’s first Chief Human Resources Officer. With more than 20 years of experience aligning people and business strategies, Kiersten takes the lead in furthering AmeriLife’s people programs by redefining and scaling the company’s talent and service delivery strategies to support and enable AmeriLife’s rapid and significant growth.

Kiersten is responsible for developing and executing all areas of human capital and human resource management, including talent acquisition, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, total rewards, succession planning, training and talent development, DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), employee relations, and HR technology.

Prior to joining AmeriLife, Kiersten held multiple human resources leadership roles, including leading talent for Deloitte Consulting’s U.S. Industry & Enabling Area practices. She is a member of the Florida CHRO Governing Body.

As Chief Distribution Officer, Mike Vietri leads all aspects of AmeriLife’s product distribution efforts. Mike taps into his prestigious 30-year sales and marketing career to develop insurance and retirement products to address the needs of America’s pre-retiree and retiree populations.

Since joining AmeriLife in 2016, Mike has enhanced AmeriLife’s national distribution network to include more than 200,000 insurance agents and advisors, nearly 60 Career agency offices, and over 35 affiliate marketing organizations. With a focus on continued growth of our distribution channels, Mike provides a cohesive way forward to meet our future distribution and production objectives.

Prior to his role with AmeriLife, Mike held executive positions with The Producers Group and MetLife, where he successfully led on change to one of the nation’s largest sales and general distribution groups.

Nathan oversees our Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources departments. He also plays a key role as a member of the AmeriLife Mergers and Acquisitions team.

He leads a team of attorneys and legal professionals and provides legal counsel in all corporate initiatives, insurance mandated compliance, litigation, and executive decision-making.

An experienced corporate trial lawyer who specialized in commercial litigation, business and real estate law, Nathan is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Business and Stetson University of College of Law. He has been a member of the Florida Bar for 30 years.

Ovidio “Ovi” Vitas joined AmeriLife in 2020 as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Ovi spearheads the company’s customer acquisition strategy and marketing programs – including oversight of all performance marketing efforts, as well as enterprise brand strategy – working to bring broader awareness of the company’s holistic solutions to life, health and retirement planning.

With more than 20 years of digital and brand experience, Ovi brings a proven track record of managing innovative global, digital and brand management programs that emphasize creativity and brand awareness.

Prior to joining AmeriLife, Ovi served as Executive Vice President and Chief Brand and Digital Officer for Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where he oversaw all brand, digital and performance optimization efforts. He has also led award-winning advertising initiatives and overall channel optimization for global brands, including Electronic Arts, NBC/Universal, Warner Brothers and Reebok.

Ovi graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University.

Pat joined AmeriLife in 2019 as Executive Vice President of Product Innovation and Corporate Actuary. He is responsible for leading the company’s initiatives to intensify its partnerships with leading carriers and provide proprietary, financial solutions for key consumer groups. Since joining AmeriLife, Pat has greatly expanded the financial products AmeriLife offers in the pre-retiree and retiree marketplace.

Before joining AmeriLife, Pat served as Chief Operating Officer for Aetna’s Senior Supplemental business, where he worked on the carrier side with a focus on Medicare Supplement. While at Aetna, he held positions as the Head of Medicare Supplement, Chief Actuary, and the Business and Integration leader for Aetna’s acquisition of the Genworth Financial Medicare Supplement business. Pat also held leadership positions with Bankers Life & Casualty and Combined Insurance Company.

Pat has a bachelor’s degree in Math and Economics from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minn. and a master’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

Tim Calvert joined AmeriLife in 2020 as Chief Operating Officer. As a member of the executive team, Tim leads all existing back-and middle-office functions, including the company’s information technology and third-party administrator groups, as well as its broad-based, direct-to-consumer platform. Tim also leads AmeriLife’s strategic resource group.

With over 25 years of experience working in the insurance industry, Tim has helped companies transform across the value chain with a focus on leading growth strategy development, advanced analytics deployment, operational efficiency and effectiveness improvement and strategic technology transformation.

Prior to joining AmeriLife, Tim served as Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he led the company’s global life insurance business and focused on business growth, digitization, advanced data and analytics, operations and technology. Prior to joining BCG, Tim held a variety of leadership positions with Deloitte Consulting.

Tim earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Kansas and a master of business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Scott Perry joined AmeriLife as CEO in December 2016. He was previously the Chief Business Officer of CNO Financial Group, Inc., (formerly Conseco, Inc.), where he oversaw the operations of Bankers Life, Colonial Penn, and Washington National.

Prior to that, Scott served as the President of Bankers Life, where he helped to transform the business and organizational culture, driving improved performance through information-based market and branch-specific plans, using an automated process for lead distribution and management.

Before joining Bankers Life, Scott worked for 17 years in sales, marketing, and management roles at Golden Rule, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Premera Blue Cross. Earlier in his career, he advised healthcare payers and providers on strategies to improve operational and financial performance with the Deloitte & Touche Integrated Health Care Group.

Scott has served on the boards of LL Global (LIMRA) and the American College. He also served as a board member and Chair of the Greater Illinois chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
