For the fifth consecutive year, AmeriLife® was a financial supporter of the Hill Country Classic charity golf tournament in Austin, Texas, which raised $300,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The Hill Country Classic, now in its 15th year, raises money for children’s causes and charities. Hosted by Billy and Karon Hill, the Hill Country Classic is supported primarily by insurance industry-related organizations, and has raised millions of dollars to help thousands of children across America.

AmeriLife, the Clearwater, FL-based annuity, life and health insurance marketing group, was the popular tournament’s Pairing Party Sponsor. Played on the challenging course at Austin’s Riverplace Country Club, the Hill Country Classic drew more than 200 participants from all sectors of the insurance industry, including agents, carriers and TPA personnel.

AmeriLifes CEO Scott Perry was joined at the tournament by Chief Distribution & Marketing Officer Mike Vietri; President of Life & Health Brokerage Operations Derek Richardson; Executive Vice President of Business Development Pete Adkins; Vice President of Product Development Bryan Dreisbach; and AmeriLife’s Director of Carrier Relations, Stephanie Espiritu.

Austin businessmen Josh and Lucas Vandenberg were also sponsors of the late-April charity fund-raiser. The Vandenberg’s Austin-based Precision Senior Marketing is a member of the AmeriLife group of insurance marketing companies.

State insurance commissioners from Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, South Carolina and Kansas participated in the annual Insurance Regulatory Roundtable, along with attorneys and other experts in attendant panels discussing the new Department of Labor regulations pertaining to annuity sales, and insurance industry-specific cybersecurity issues.
