The following offices are currently closed due to the impact of what is now Tropical Storm Florence; these locations are expected to re-open on Monday, September 17th:

  • Cary, NC (Corp 152A)
  • Charleston, SC (Corp 159)
  • Charlotte, NC (Corp 154)
  • Greensboro, NC (Corp 152)
  • Winston-Salem, NC (Corp 156)

Our Wilmington, NC office is also currently closed and will remain closed on Monday, September 17th due to the impact of Hurricane Florence.

Announcements regarding re-opening of our Wilmington location or changes in status of re-opening our other NC / SC locations will be communicated once the storm passes and damages are assessed.

AmeriLife University in NC has been cancelled for the week of September 17th due to the impact of Hurricane Florence but will be rescheduled. Agents who were planning to attend this new agent school session will be contacted as it is rescheduled.

Please contact your Manager with any questions or if you are unable to return to work once your office reopens due to the impacts of the storm.

Q: Will AmeriLife be closing due to Hurricane Florence?

A: The AmeriLife Emergency Response Team and local field leadership are monitoring the path of the storm. Decisions regarding local office closures will be made at the General Manager’s discretion based on weather conditions and evacuation orders. The safety of our agents and associates is our top priority.

Q: How will information regarding AmeriLife closing be communicated?

A: If a weather-related closures are needed at our local offices, the decision will be communicated by the local General Manager. The following resources will also be updated as frequently as possible:
