Providing a hand up to one of Clearwater’s most effective homeless assistance charities, AmeriLife donated 80 surplus office chairs to HEP, the Homeless Empowerment Program.

The chairs, gently used, but in excellent condition, were utilized primarily for training AmeriLife insurance agents. Instead of storing the chairs or disposing of them throughout AmeriLife’s various offices, the spare chairs were delivered in early March to HEP.

The chairs will be used in the many buildings of the 8-acre campus, and in the 16 transitional housing homes it operates. HEP, which provides shelter and support services for homeless families, has partnered with AmeriLife several times in the past and has been the recipient of several food conducted at corporate headquarters.

AmeriLife is committed to giving back to the community through outreach programs such as HEP.
